Quality Improvement

The MSV Foundation sponsors quality improvement initiatives, physician leadership education, prescription assistance and prevention programs that help you and your patients. This advocacy reaches out to every sector of our patient and physician population, assisting everyone from free clinic medical directors and daycare providers to uninsured Virginia residents and medical students.

At the Foundation, we love it when a physician comes to us with an idea for improving health and well-being in Virginia. It means we get to spring into action, helping with everything from staff support and writing proposals to materials and grant requests. In fact, our cardiovascular improvement program, TO GOAL, started out just this way.

And that’s not all. Our DOC RxRelief program provides medication assistance to the underinsured and uninsured patients of more than 150 physicians at more than 40 clinical sites. This not only helps patients to get the medicine they need, but reduces repeat patient visits, freeing physicians to see other patients.
