Professional Medical Coding Curriculum Course (PMCC)

A multi-session course for those wishing to become CPC certified.
This program is designed to prepare individuals for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification examination offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). The curriculum is presented in a comprehensive format and covers medical terminology, anatomy overviews, and procedural and diagnostic coding organized in a way that is consistent with the most current standards. Students may choose to achieve CPC certification upon successful completion of the course by taking the CPC exam, which is proctored by MSV faculty.

Cost:
$1599.00 (Includes workbooks, membership to AAPC, unlimited phone assistance from instructor, review session and final exam. CPC Certification Exam is an additional $260.)

Time:
Begins Monday, August 2, 2010 – 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Classes held every Monday following for 18 weeks

Note:
Students will need to have their own current copy of CPT, ICD-9-CM and HCPCS books. Please contact instructor if you need to order a set ($152 per set).
